Everything2 isn’t a website I go to to look stuff up (that’s usually Stack Overflow or Wikipedia), but it is a website that sometimes pops up when searching for a more obscure piece of knowledge, such as the Voltaire quote Pour encourager les autres. There’s a lot of that stuff on, well, everything, but it’s quite hard to discover anything on everything2’s homepage. Perhaps obscure knowledge is not meant to be easily discoverable, and it is meant to be found through a search engine, or a reference.
