Keep Your Identity Small

psychology, society

An old link that I have been meaning to post for more than half a decade I guesstimate: Keep Your Identity Small by Y-Combinators Paul Graham. Basically, opinions will get in your way, are in practice quite irrelevant and can easily cause friction if held very strongly during interactions with other, so why bother? Of course, no identity, no opinions are both not possible and not desirable, but I certainly agree that a cost-benefit analysis of all that has entered ones backpack could improve matters. How can you make your ideas work for you, for the better?
