Dutch Brazil
Ah, the good old days of exploration and when things like Dutch Brazil were normal everyday things. A few paintings of Frans Post have been rediscovered, displaying some of the first images of Brazil and its fauna from the early 17th century. Sailing across the ocean, sitting down, and painting this painting must’ve been a very surreal and delightful experience.
