Why u no connecting flights?

With a certain very important birthday coming up, I’m trying to see which destination would be both sunny and easily reached from Lyon and Gdansk. Easyjet is a logical choice, as it serves most holiday destinations for a low price. I’ve never flown with Ryanair, but they tend to serve smaller airports it seems. Wizzair, the Easyjet of eastern Europe, is also one of the first I’ll check out.

None of them, however, offer connecting flights. Both Easyjet and Wizzair serve almost all destinations from the various London airports, potentially being in a great place to offer connecting flights. They both try to sell hotels and car rentals, improving their potential for multiday layovers. I wonder why they’re not providing this, to me, obvious service.
