Amidst one of the most important periods of change since the war, the University of Amsterdam has opened a new website, displaying some of its heritage in high resolution online. Lot’s of maps, a favorite of mine, take the Beemster polder, with lots and all, or the Haarlemmermeer, before it was a polder, long before I was growing up there.
